Saying “I hurt” is easy, or “J’ai mal à”. However, saying where you hurt is more complicated.
Pains and injuries – Maux et blessures
- I have a back ache. J’ai un lumbago.
- I have a bump. J’ai une bosse.
- I have a cut. J’ai une coupure.
- I have a fever. J’ai de la fièvre.
- I have a fracture. J’ai une fracture.
- I have a scratch. J’ai une égratignure.
- I have a sprain. J’ai une foulure/entorse.
- I have a stiff neck. J’ai un torticolis.
- I have a wound. J’ai une blessure.
- I have spasms. J’ai des crampes.
- I have a cold. J’ai un rhume.

Print and translate the sentences from one language to the other. French to English (la version) is easier. English to French (la thèse) a bit more challenging.
