Christmas is an important time of year in France. Whether or not you’re a believer, Christmas is everywhere. Although each region has its own ways of celebrating,Christmas is a public holiday, and people take long vacations to spend time with family and friends, get together, relax and eat delicious meals for a week.

I designed this course to help you understand how the French celebrate Christmas and to provide you with the vocabulary and expressions you will hear and want to use in French-speaking parts of the world.

Bien que chaque région ait ses propres caractéristiques, Noël est un jour férié qui permet aux gens prendre de longs congés pour passer du temps avec la famille et les amis, pour se réunir, se détendre ensemble et de manger un délicieux repas pendant une semaine.
