Le sel se retrouve dans tous nos plats, mais comment y arrive-t-il ? Comment le récolte-t-on ?
Nous nous servons de sel comme exhausteur de goût. On a plusieurs tailles et goût : du gros sel, du sel fin, de la fleur de sel et le sel aromatisé.
Le sel français vient de 2 régions principales : Guérande et la Camargue.

Salt finds its way in all our dishes, but how does it get there? How is it harvested?
We use salt as a flavor enhancer. Salt comes in different sizes and flavors: coarse salt, fine salt, fleur de sel and flavored salt.
French salt comes from 2 main regions: Guérande and Camargue.

Et quand on regarde ces paludiers aux pieds nus, on assiste surtout à un véritable ballet.
Ces gestes ancestraux permettent de récolter le gros sel. Ici, pas de machine, pas d’engrais. Tout est en accord avec la nature.
J’ai un sentiment de liberté quand je travaille euh, dans les marais salon. Pourtant euh, la météo comme patron, euh, c’est pas facile, hein. Mais, ouais, c’est la liberté dans ma tête.

And when you look at these barefoot salt pond workers, you mostly see a dance ballet.
These ancestral gestures is what make it possible to harvest coarse salt. Here, no machine, no fertilizer. Everything is in keeping with nature.
I have a sense of freedom when I work uh, in the salterns. Yet uh, having the weather as a boss, uh, it’s not easy, huh. But, yeah, it’s what freedom is, in my head.
