Faites bien attention à vos affaires quand vous allez sur des sites touristiques.

The Eiffel Tower monument attracts millions of tourists from around the world every year. Despite the police and surveillance videos, the pickpockets mingled in the huge crowd manage to defraud the tourists. They earn unimaginable amounts of money every day. Please, pay attention to your belongings when you go to tourist places!

—Sous la tour Eiffel, les touristes savent bien qu’il faut faire attention : les pickpockets sont partout.
—Y en [sic] a des personnes qui nous disent « Gardez les mains dans les poches », ou, ou euh, « attention à vos poches arrière » etc.
—Il faut avoir son téléphone près du corps et garder ses affaires dans les poches de devant et garder l’œil ouvert.
—Car les touristes attirent les voleurs et autres escrocs. La situation sous la tour Eiffel est telle, que même le personnel d’accueil se sent en danger.

—Under the Eiffel Tower, tourists know very well that they must be careful: pickpockets are everywhere.
