c’est le printemps - it is the spring. c’est le printemps is pretty straight forward and means ‘it’s spring’. Many of my students hesitate between ‘C’est le printemps’ and ‘Il est le printemps’. With an article and a noun, ‘c’est‘ is the one to pick.
- “Great, it’s finally nice out. It’s spring and I’ll be able to go for a walk.”
