In Hebrew, Passover means passing over it. The meaning of Pesach is ‘time of freedom’. Pesach is held in early spring. The holiday always starts with a big meal, Seder, a meal full of symbols.

In this course, we’ll go over vocabulary around Passover.

En hébreu, Pessa’h veut dire passer par-dessus. Le sens de Pessa’h est le temps de la libération. Pessah se tient au début du printemps. La fête commence toujours par un grand repas, le Séder, un repas plein de symboles.
