QUE Vs. CE QUE – Today’s French

Ce que j’aime à French Hour, ce sont les exercices que je peux refaire quand je veux.

QUE and CE QUE are relative pronouns. Relative pronouns are here “to relate, to combine” two sentences that would otherwise be separate. Relative pronouns make the speech more sophisticated and more fluid.

QUE is often translated by THAT.

CE QUE is often translated by WHAT.
