n’y voir que du feu - French expression

n’y voir que du feu – not in it to see only some fire, to see only fire in it. n’y voir que du feu means ‘to be clueless about what’s going on’, ‘to be oblivious’, ‘to not notice something that’s going on’, ‘to see nothing’.
