It’s hard to avoid Thanksgiving – which is sometimes called Thanksgiving instead of ‘La journée d’action de grâce’ even in French – that we celebrate in the United States on the third Thursday of November, and talk of it is everywhere – on TV and in movies, magazines and newspapers.

Supermarkets are swarming with shoppers, kitchens are buzzing, people are dressing up and eating too much, and then, they prepare for Black Friday – which also exists under this name in English in France. Go figure!

In any case, Thanksgiving is also about thanking – REMERCIER in French. And giving thanks bugs many French learners.

So I prepared this worksheet and this quiz to get you started on the subject. Do the quiz and continue learning with my Thanksgiving course and all its lessons.

I wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving, if you celebrate it, and a great week of learning French with all these links I prepared for you.

*****
