I designed this article to show how French Hour works and additionally to be an example of and “À Tout Va” quiz, which is a type of small test that can help you improve your French today. Take it now, it’s free!

And, you might be wondering about French Hour and its relationship to my old site, French Etc., so I thought the following explanation would be helpful.

As I write this explanation of my site, I am seated here in my garden in Thourie, France. You will learn how to use French Hour and why it is that my students like my site.

The site offers free lessons and free worksheets. If you want to learn French in more depth, you can choose to purchase lessons and have all the worksheets that I have handcrafted for you. In both cases, you must click on the button “Take this Course” to access the lessons.

The site also provides details on the private lessons that I offer, as well as the immersion weeks in Brittany that I have designed for those who would like to spend a week in France and take a real leap forward with their French.

As you can probably tell, I am passionate about my role as a French teacher. I love to explain vocabulary and grammar. Nothing gives me more pleasure than to watch my students make rapid progress. I hope you will share the link FrenchHour.com on social media.

Toutefois, il faut toujours cliquer sur le bouton « Take this Course » pour accéder aux fiches des leçons.

Je vous parle également des cours particuliers et des séjours d’immersion que vous pouvez faire avec moi.

On fait vraiment ce que vous voulez en parlant français. Quelquefois, j’ai fait des semaines de randonnées, de cuisine française… On peut aller visiter des choses autour. Tout ça, pour apprendre le français dans un cadre pédagogique.

We speak French for a week and the curriculum is what you chose it to be. At times, I have designed a whole week of hiking, or of French cooking, or of visiting sites around.
