to be at door stop. as fast as possible, as strongly as possible, to be going full speed, full throttle.

  • « On est au taquet. Le journal sort demain matin et il nous manque encore deux articles. On va bosser toute la nuit. »
    • “We’re going full throttle. The paper is coming out tomorrow morning and we’re missing two articles still. We’re going to work all night.”
